Cavatelli with Bacon, Peas and a Creamy Garlic Alfredo Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 package (12 oz.) Celentano Cavatelli
  • 1/4 lb bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 1 jar alfredo sauce
  • 1/2 bag frozen peas
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Directions

Bring a large pot of water to a boil, cook cavatelli according to package instructions. Drain and set aside. Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crisp. Remove to a paper towel-lined plate; cool bacon than chop. Discard all but 1 teaspoon of bacon grease. Add the alfredo sauce and frozen peas to the skillet, then season with salt and black pepper, garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Add the cooked cavatelli and bacon, toss to combine.  Divide among bowls and serve immediately.
